Good News for Books

Steve Jobs may just want to re-think his recent comments stating that people just aren’t reading anymore.

According to Publishers Weekly retail bookstores saw a 7.5% jump in sales during the month of November, bringing in nearly $1.19 billion dollars. And in case you’re thinking that it was just the holiday rush that spurred sales over the top, sales for the first eleven months of 2007 were up .08%.

Looks like the printed word is still going strong.
