Star Wars The Saul Bass Way
I found this on You Tube and thought I’d throw it up here for all of the wonderfully wacky, creative people who happen to stop by.
When I was in design school, we studied the works of the most prominent designers of the 20th century and one of those people was the late, great Saul Bass. Saul’s work in doing movie posters and movie intros is iconic to say the least. You may not know who he is, but I guarantee you’ve seen his work - especially if you’re a movie buff.
I present to you what Star Wars might’ve looked like in the hands of the master.
(Sorry, but I have very little luck embedding You Tube videos here. It seems that Mozilla based browsers, like Firefox, can’t handle it and render my site as a shitty mess.)
